Application Requirements
- Possess the legal right to work in Japan.
- Education: Graduated from domestic or foreign colleges/universities recognized by MEXT (The onboarding date will be scheduled in June for applicants graduated in March 2026).
- English proficiency: Must provide a transcript or certificate of English proficiency test.
- Minimum score requirements:
- TOEIC (Listening & Reading)-600
- BULATS-45
- EIKEN-Grade 2
- TOEFL iBT-64
- TOEFL ITP-480
- IELTS-4.5
- Linguaskill -145
Remarks: You are suggested to provide the up-to-date English proficiency transcript/certificate even there is no restriction to its expiration date. The interview qualification will be voided if you are unable to offer a valid English proficiency transcript/certificate on the date of onsite interview
- Arm reach of 210 cm while standing on tiptoes for carrying out cabin safety duties.
- Vision: At least 0.1 without glasses/contact lenses; over 1.0 with glasses/contact lenses.
- Be able to participate training in Taiwan during MAR/2026 ~ JUN/2026 or JUN/2026 ~ SEP/2026.
- Be able to commute to Narita or Kansai International Airport within 90 minutes by public transportation.

- A successful application requires uploading a video via YouTube. The details are as below.
- Please film a self-introduction video in both English and Japanese, with 30 seconds for each language. The total length should not exceed one minute.
- Make sure your whole face is facing the camera, and your upper body is in the middle of the screen. This video presents the best of you, including light, angle, pixels and the content.
- Fill the URL of your video link in the column of "Video URL Link".
- Your video does not need to be set to “Public”, but please make sure it is set to “Unlisted”, meaning only those with the link can view it. Do not set it to “Private.” If the video cannot be viewed during the review period, your application will be considered invalid.

Required Documents for Onsite Interview
- Japanese Citizen: Driving License or passport.
Non-Japanese Citizen: Permission for Permanent Residence
- Degree of highest level of education. (If you do not have graduation certificate yet, please provide a certificate of enrollment in final year or a temporary graduation certificate issued by school.)
- Transcript or certificate of English proficiency test.
- Personal Data Use Agreement with interviewee’s signature (the blank pdf form will be provided via invitation email for interviewee’s downloading).
- Please provide original copies of all the aforementioned documents. They will be returned upon verification except Personal Data Use Agreement. Any missing documents may result in disqualification for interview.

Interview Process

- Online Interview: An invitation will be delivered to designated applicants per Company’s discretion.
- Onsite Interview & Written Test: An invitation will be sent to shortlisted applicants. The qualified applicants will have to submit required documents for verification.
- Medical Check: For those who receive a notification email from us, please complete the medical check per instructions.
- Offer letter & Pre-Job Briefing: Based on a comprehensive assessment of interview results, an offer letter will be provided to shortlisted candidates and invited to participate Pre-Job briefing in Tokyo.
- Onboard notification: An Onboard notification will be sent to those who participate Pre-Job Briefing and submit required documents on site.

Notes
- Any false information in the application will result in automatic disqualification.
- Training and probation will be ceased for those who fail the appraisals in the initial training and probationary period.
- STARLUX Airlines cabin crew need to use portable iOS devices to upload and download related information during training and while on duty. You will need to bring your own iOS devices and cellular network.
- STARLUX Airlines does not collaborate with any institutions for recruitment purposes and does not obtain personal data through Line, Facebook, Wechat, or other unofficial channels.
- Any forms of lobbying will lead to automatic disqualification.
