Job Description
- Perform cabin safety duties in the aircraft, provide high quality passenger service and pursue the best customer satisfaction.
- Employment Type:
- Fixed-term Training & Employment Agreement for 3 years. After the expiry of the agreement, contract renewal will be evaluated according to personal wishes and work performance.
- Perform duty per work roster and may work on national holidays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

- Home Base: SGN or HAN
- Training Venue: STARLUX Operation Center (Taoyuan, Taiwan) which will be specified in onboard notification.
Application Requirements
- Nationality: Vietnamese
- Arm reach of 210 cm on tip toes for carrying out cabin safety duties.
- Education: Junior college graduated or above.
- Vision: At least 0.1 without glasses/contact lenses; over 1.0 with glasses/contact lenses (according to Taiwan standards). Near-sighted candidates can wear contact lens.
- Language: Be fluent in speaking and writing both English and Vietnamese. Knowledge of Mandarin or Taiwanese will be an advantage.

- Remarks: You are suggested to provide the up-to-date English proficiency transcript/certificate even there is no restriction to its expiration date. The interview qualification will be voided if you are unable to offer a valid English proficiency transcript/certificate on the date of onsite interview.
- Be able to participate training in Taiwan during MAY-JUL/2025(SGN Base) or AUG-OCT/2025(SGN&HAN Base).
- Be able to commute to Tan Son Nhat International Airport or Noibai International Airport within 90 minutes by public transportation.

A successful online application requires uploading a video via YouTube. The details are as below.- Film a self-introduction video both in English and Vietnamese for 30 seconds on each. The whole video is not exceeded 1 minute.

- Notarized ID Card or passport.
- Notarized graduation certificate. (If you do not have graduation certificate yet, please provide a certificate of enrollment in final year or a temporary graduation certificate issued by school.)
- Transcript or certificate of English proficiency test.
- Personal Data Use Agreement with interviewee’s signature (the blank pdf form will be provided via invitation email for interviewee’s downloading).
- Please provide original copies of all the aforementioned documents. They will be returned upon verification except Personal Data Use Agreement. Any missing documents may result in disqualification for interview.

- Medical Check: For those who receive a notification email from us, please complete the medical check per instructions.
- Offer letter & Pre-Job Briefing: Based on a comprehensive assessment of interview results, an offer letter will be provided to shortlisted candidates and invited to participate Pre-Job briefing in HCMC or Hanoi held by ALSIMEXCO MTV and STARLUX Airlines respectively.
- Onboard Notification: An Onboard notification will be sent to those who participate in the Pre-Job Briefing and submit required documents on site.

No, you should submit TOEIC speaking and writing scores that are taken from the same test.
How should I do my makeup and hair for the interview?
We recommend that you do your makeup and hair in a way that will best present yourself, while simultaneously maintaining an appropriate, refreshing, neat, and tidy look. Please cover any tattoos and do not wear any nose rings while attending the interview. Hairpieces, colored contact lenses or circle contact lenses are also not recommended.
What are the grooming requirements for STARLUX Airlines’ cabin crew interview?
Cabin crew applicants should be dressed in appropriate and comfortable attire when attending the interview. For female applicants, short sleeve shirt, sheer, nude pantyhose should be paired with skirts or dresses, while a tie, short sleeve shirt and dark socks should be included in male applicants’ business attire.
Can I wear a retainer for the interview?
Applicants can wear a retainer for the interview; however cabin crews are not allowed to wear a retainer on duty.
For the arm reach, should both hands touch at the same time? Am I able to stand on tiptoes?
Both hands should reach 210 cm while standing barefoot on tiptoes. Approaching or jumping is not allowed.
How long is the initial training?
The initial training plus OJT (On-Job-Training) is around 3-4 months.
If I am currently a cabin crew member with another airline, do I still need to attend the initial training with STARLUX Airlines?
Yes, to comply with aviation regulations, you will still need to attend and pass the initial training with STARLUX Airlines.
